I really liked this book because there was always something new and unusual happening. I especially liked Aunt Ethel’s character, because she’s always doing something that you wouldn’t expect to happen in an ordinary day such as shooting a bat.

This book was a very good, and suspenceful book. Out of 5 I would give it a 4.75 because it takes at least 70 pages to get to the main event. But the book was still great and I recommend it to 5th- and 6th graders

This book was really good! I thought it was gross about the bat, but at the same time funny! When the robber broke in I was a little surprized...I wasn't expecting it! The cake idea was really good. Who would write HELP on a cake?!? I'm glad the robber got caught and Willie got t move on, but it made me a little sad to see him leaving Josh behind.

"Can you see me"? If you like mystery books THE GHOST GRAVE by PEG KEHRETis the right book for you .Josh meets a ghost named Willie who asked Josh to unbary something for him.The main character of this story is Josh andhe went to visit his aunt Ethle during the summer vacation. While trying to do a fauor for his friend,Josh discovers a box filled with something. It's dangerous because he doesn't want to get caught stealing from someone else's grave. Without Josh,Willie wouldn't have been able to be a speacil angel.
I liked the book The Ghost Grave because Josh helps a ghost named Willie go to a different stage in the after life. My opinion is that this is a book that everyone can enjoy because in the book there are places where it shows true friendship.

Have you ever dug up two graves in one night? Josh McDowell has! When a boy named Josh moves in with his great aunt Ethel strange things happen. During the summer Josh meets a friendly ghost named Willie, commits a federal crime digging up graves and is threatned to get shot in the chest with a gun! Ilove this book because it is so suspenseful when Josh turns around and saw a gun pointed at his chest I was screaming inside! Will Josh get shot? Did he find something else besides bones in the grave? If you want to find out any good library will have the Ghost's Grave by Peg Kehret.

"I thank you for the loan of your books, he said. Never owned a book myself. 'Course I never learned to read until after I died... 'after he died?' Josh thought." Josh has met a ghost, named Willie. This ghost, in a fiction book The Ghost's Grave, by Peg Kehret, becomes one of Josh's good friends! Willie wants Josh to dig up Willie's leg in his grave. Josh wonders why. The reason is because Willie wasn't buried with his leg when he died. When Josh does dig up Willie's leg, he finds $130,000.00 in the grave.
I really enjoyed this book. I enjoyed it because I like books that are exciting, and this one is. Like when a guy, Mr.Turlip thinks Josh has stolen the money (he did), Mr.Turlip gets his gun and points it to Josh's face (...he doesn't shoot him), because he wants to money. Josh is lying and saying he doesn't have it though. What will happen to Willie? What will happen to the $130,00.00? The Ghost's Grave by Peg Kehret.

"Will you dig-up my leg bone and put it with my body? Willy the coalminer/ghost asked Josh"Josh is the second person in 50 years to see and hear Willy and Josh's aunt was the first person. The Ghost Grave by Peg Kehert has everything crime, animals, money, family, ghosts, hospitals, thrills and chills. When you read this book you'll feel sorry for yourself that your sitting in school doing work or on vacation and Josh is taming cats, hepling a friend/ghost, getting a box filled with hundreds of dollars and eating great homemake cake. Because Ghost Grave was so scary, I loved it and my favorite part was when the thief, Mr.Turlup, threatened to kill Josh if he didn't give the box of money to him. If you like suspenseful and breathtaking books you'll love The Ghost Grave byPeg Kehret.

The Ghost`s Grave

Have you ever thought you`ve seen a ghost? Have you ever thought you`ve talked to a ghost? That's what Josh finds out when he can see and talk to a ghost named Willie in The Ghost`s Grave by Peg Kehehret.

This book is about a 12 year old kid named Josh who is staying at his aunt`s house for the summer. One day he finds an old treehouse in the woods behind his aunt`s house. The first time he went up into the treehouse he didn`t see or hear anyone, but the second time he went up he saw that his book was moved. He thought he was all alone when he heard someone or something and he knew he wasn`t alone.

I liked this book because I think that The Ghost`s Grave was full of adventure when Josh had to dig up Willie`s leg bones.I thought that when Aunt Ethel shot a bat and she just left it in the crack between the cupboard and the wall, I thought that was the funniest part of the whole book!!!! It wasn`t my favorite book but it was in my top ten favorites.

I think that this is a terrific book and everyone should read it.

Have you ever shot a bat before? Well in The Ghost's Grave by Peg Kehret,Josh's aunt shoots one. This book is about when Josh goes to his Aunt Ethel's house while his mom and her boyfriend go to India. While he's there,he goes to a treehouse and stays there. One day,Josh leaves the treehouse, then his books were on the floor but he knew that he left them on the table.Josh hears this weird voice...it's a ghost! His name is Willy.Willy asked Josh to dig up his leg bones because his leg blew up in a coalmine accident. When Josh finds his grave,he digs and digs and digs and he finds a box. If you want to know what's in the box, read The Ghost's Grave by Peg Kehret.

Have you ever dug up a grave for a friend? Well Josh did in a fantasy book The Ghost's Grave by Peg Kehret.Have you ever dug up a leg bone for a friend? Josh had a ghost friend named Willie who stayed at Josh's Aunt Ethel's house. His ghost friend asked him to dig up his leg and put it in his real grave.During the time he was digging for the leg he found a metal box. What was in the metal box? Also while Josh was at his real house he wanted to play on the summer baseball team.He couldn't play because he was stuck at his Aunt Ethel's house for the summer while his mom and Steven were in India.

The part I enjoyed was when Josh was in danger and was fighting for help.During the time I was reading the book I was happy when Josh got help instead of being in danger the whole night.I thought it was brave of Josh to go to the house from the shed to see who was there. To find out what happens to Josh you can read The Ghost's Grave by Peg Kehret.

"The day I found out I was on the team I ran home." In The Ghost's Grave by Peg Kehret,Josh has to go to his Aunt Ethel's for the summer but he just made the summer baseball team.He has to go because his mom and step dad Steven go to Indiana. At Aunt Ethel's he has to dig up a grave. He digs up a grave to receive leg bones for a ghost. He finds a metal box. What could be in it?If you like scary stories you will like
this book.
I absolutely loved this book. I would read it over and over and over again and I am not a very big reader. The reason I like this book is it is mysterious. It is mystrious because first, the cash for critters money was missing.Second, his book was not where he put it. Third, he found a metal box.Lastly, a gun was pointed at his head.So if you like mystery books pick up The Ghost's Grave by Peg Kehret and READ.

Would you ever think you're friend would be a ghost? In the Ghost's Grave, Josh found the tree house and out of the window was a ghost named Willy.Willy asked Josh to dig up his leg bones so they could be with the rest of his body. When Josh was digging he hit something. It was a metal box.He took it,a plastic bag was around it. I say Ghost's Grave is a great book for kids who like suspenseful books.I think the book is suspenseful because at one point Josh thought he'd get caught at any moment. Digging up a grave is illegal.

Have you ever met a coalminer /ghost? Josh does in this fantasy book The Ghost's Grave by Peg Kehret. It's summer and Josh just moved to Minneapolis. Josh doesn't have any friends yet but soon he knows that he's on a baesball team. Then Josh finds out that his parents are going to India for the summer. Now Josh has to stay with his great-great Aunt Ethel. That's where he meets his ghost friend, Willie. Willie is a friendly ghost that was burned in a coalmine by his ex-wife's boyfriend. Willie lost his leg in this tragic accident. So now Josh and Willlie team up and dig up Willie's leg bone.

When this book got funny is when Aunt Ethel shot a flying bat in her house and it fell behind the cupboard and rotted. She didn't get it out. Then I knew right away I would love this book. Another part I thought was funny was when Aunt Ethel was in her truck with Josh and there were no seatbelts. This book has what every good book should have. I believe that you will love this book. Consider The Ghost's Grave by Peg Kehret.

Have you ever been somewhere that you're not suppose to be that you just might be caught at any moment?

There was a boy named Josh. Josh had to stay at his Aunt Ethel's house for the summer. One weird day Josh was asked a question by his ghost friend Willie. This question could put Josh in a weird position or in danger. Willie asked Josh if he would dig up Willie's leg bones. Then he would have to put them back together with the rest of his body. It took Josh a little while to decide he was going to do it. When he dug up the leg bones Josh found a metal box. He didn't know what was in the box. It was stapled shut. There could be one thing that could mean. There was something in that box that someone didn't want found.

I know Ghost's Grave can be humorous at some points. Like when there was a bat in the kitchen. Aunt Ethel took a shot gun out, then starting shooting at the bat. She hit the bat and then the animal fell behind a cupboard.

Are you a person who enjoys humorous books and suspenseful books? Then this book Ghost's Grave is for you.

Have you ever dug up a leg bone for your dead friend? Well... It's not the brightest thing to do. But there is one kid in the book Ghost's Grave by Peg Kehret named Josh. Josh was spending the summer at his aunt's house thought it wasn't his choice because he made the baseball team at home and now he can't play. He finds some good things and some bad things about being there. He did learn some things, and new friends. Although other things happended that summer. Like when he found a treehouse that is inhabited by a ghost named Willy. Willy was a coal miner a long time ago. Strangely he and his leg were buried separately and asks Josh to bury them together. Would you do it if he asked you?

One way I really liked this book is at the end of each chapter you can't wait to read more. Like when Josh hit the gun out of the robber's hand. So if you plant your eyes in this book, you can't resist reading it over and over.
