It was a good book. The characters were very funny and there were a lot of parts that I really liked about the book. When they described what the baby looked like, it sounded really cute.

This book wasn't good. I really did not like it because after a while it started to get boring and you could predict what was going to happen next.

This was one of the best books I have ever read. Ever! I loved her description of the main characters. I love historical fiction. I usually don't feel like I am in the characters position but Diane Stanley made me feel as if I was Bella, the one telling the story. This book was great!

I absolutley loved this book! I liked how I could actually picture the setting and characters in my mind. It was like I was actually in the story! I thought that the Kitty-Pair-of-Kitties was cute, but I was sad when the kitten ran away. I also enjoyed how each chapter was told by a diffrentt character's point of view, and how the first and second story came together to join the third. The only part I didn't like was when Bella became a knight. I thought that was ridiculous because girls are supposed to be queens and princesses, not knights. Overall, this book was one of my favorites and I hope it wins because I think it should!

I loved this book sooo much! I could completely picture what was happening. The setting and characters were vivid in my imagination! My favorite part was at the end when Prince Julian and Bella get married. My least favorite part was when Kitty-Pair-of-Kitties ran away! It was so sad! This book made me laugh and almost cry. This was my favorite book!

This was a very excellent book. It included romance, humor, drama, and tragety(all of the things you would want in a young adult novel). I also liked how there was more than oned book but I didn't like how the characters switched off during the story. Diane Stanley used very descriptive language while writing this book. If you have not read it already I recommend reading this fantasic novel!

How would you feel if you were taken from your "family" and thrust into the life of royalty? You must feel confused and sad, somewhat like Bella, except for the fact that this is happening to her! Bella has a perfect peasant life until her true father sends for her. She now must live with her grieving dad and resentful step-mother. One night when her step-sister gets home, Bella overhears information about a devious plot that includes the death of her childhood friend. Now she must cross into enemy territory and stop a war; all by herself!

I loved Bella At Midnight by Diane Stanley as much I enjoyed similar books titled Escape To West Berlin and Shakespeare's Secret in the past few years. Because they are all suspensful, I adored them. As you read Bella's story, you ask yourself what will happen next, and you wonder if Bella's mission will be completed. I voted for Bella At Midnight by Diane Stanley for this year's RICBA book. Bella's story is a book you won't soon forget.
